Christopher Montgomery’s introduction to mime came through an orchestrated series of events. While “hanging out” with friends at the youth pastor’s home, Christopher was asked about his interests. After he expressed his passion for dancing and acting, he was encouraged to join the church mime team. Uninterested, he rejected the invitation. A few weeks later, a friend convinced Christopher to join her at a meeting. When they arrived, he learned that the meeting was mime rehearsal and his persistent friend—Marva Williams—was the instructor. Hesitant at first, Christopher eventually joined rehearsal and has been miming ever since.
Christopher has ministered to youth from across the nation and abroad. Because of his attention to detail and flawless execution, he has been called upon to teach others about effective mime ministry. In addition to solo artistry, Christopher mimes with Tiffany Wood as Phase 2 Mime.
Christopher serves in an array of positions including chaplain for Nubiance Modeling Troupe, Vice President of Young Ministers Association and founder of Kingdom Connection Ministries (KCM). The network of more than thirty college ministries focuses on community outreach. The organization develops youth groups and provides leadership training.
Christopher graduated from Wilberforce University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He and his family attend Revival Center Ministries International in Dayton, Ohio.
