A military brat, Andrea has lived in several parts of the US: North Carolina, New Mexico, Georgia, and Minnesota, and Ohio.  The older of two children she graduated from Fairborn High School in Fairborn Ohio.  She obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Wright State University, near Dayton.  A former model, she became a flight attendant after college and was able to see most of the world.

Andrea’s love of writing began in fifth grade when her teacher gave her a certificate of writing and encouraged her parents to ‘keep her writing.’  Most of her life she wrote short stories and poetry; a few encouraging words from another author at a book signing in 2003, inspired her to outline a novel that very night.  Subsequent workshops and conferences, gave Andrea the tools she needed to get serious.
